Helio Daily - Morning Light Tracker

How to log a session

Tap "I'm about to go out" before you leave, then tap "Done" when you return. Or tap "I already went out" to log a session you forgot to time - Helio defaults to 30 minutes ago and 8 minutes, which you can adjust.

What counts as a qualifying session?

Any outdoor session of 5 minutes or more. The progress bar shows your 10-minute goal. A haptic fires at 5 minutes so you know you can stop if needed.

How do reminders work?

You can set a daily reminder at your wake time during onboarding or in Settings. An optional mid-morning nudge fires only if you have not logged a session yet that day. You can turn both off in Settings at any time.

Where is my data stored?

All session data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is uploaded to any server. Deleting the app deletes all your data.

Does the app need an account?

No. Helio requires no account, no sign-in, and no email address.

Why does the app request location or network access?

Helio does not request location access. It fetches current weather conditions (cloud cover) from api.open-meteo.com using your approximate location only if you grant permission. No personal data is sent.
